Highly recommend ordering a burger at Guy Fieri’s in the Pequot Casino. Veranda Cafe had a wonderful breakfast, but we had to wait in long lines to be seated. I really miss my breakfast at the buffet. I really hope The buffet reopens with some modifications to safeguard against Covid. Although they couldn’t come in to clean or replenish supplies, we found it very easy to approach the housekeepers in the hall who replenished our towels, water, coffee, etc. He made our check in effortless and quick. I don’t know what Foxwoods is thinking, but having been to Foxwoods hundreds of times and being a huge fan, I can tell you I won’t go back until they reopen all casinos and restaurants! Shout out to Damian at the Pequot Hotel check in desk. We were comped our rooms and almost left to go to Mohegan to eat/gamble. No one wants to go on vacation and wait in line to eat at every restaurant. There were definitely inadequate eateries for the amount of patrons gambling and roaming the resort. The problem is many of the restaurants and shops were still closed. This time, however, the weekend was more crowded than I’ve ever seen it. We were there last October and the resort was not the least bit crowded. We have been to Foxwoods many, many times.
